Pecha Kucha Comes to Longmont Colorado

Friday, Feb 11 at 7pm the first Longmont Pecha Kucha took place at the Old Firehouse Art Center in Longmont.

I’ve been part of the organizers for this event, which is headquartered in Tokyo (http://www.pecha-kucha.org/). After months of planning, the Longmont team (Tony Umile, Stephanie Hilvitz and Lauren Greenfield) were ready.  But would anyone show up?

The attendance exceeded our hopes and expectations.  The Old Firehouse was standing room only.
