Last Friday’s Longmont Second Friday Art night was a lot of fun. The Firehouse was packed, and much of the overflow found their way upstairs to my studio.
A few visitors commented that “Quote the Raven..” reminded them of Hitchcock, and Ron Galegos mentioned Mt Rushmore (from North by Northwest).
The proverbial light bulb went off over my head, and I started mixing and matching imagery. The result is the mono print above, acrylic paint on 300 lb. Arches watercolor paper.

The result is a nicely done collage of what appeared to happen in the author’s mind – two scenes from comments, red (fire) and blue (water) – ideas from the word: firehouse, lightbulb yellow and Wow!
