I have entered the Shock art competition in Longmont. The idea is that 5 artists are selected to paint a switchgear (6′ x 7′) metal electrical box. To enter, each artist had to create a small scale mockup. Then the public can vote on their favorites.
My mockup, highlighted above, is one of the 28 on display at the Firehouse Art Center til May 24. Then the mockups move to the Longmont Museum for judging thru June 8.
