Think about your troubles

I worked on this pastel last night, and I think it’s about finished.

The title is stolen from a song in the animated movie The Point by Harry Nilsson, animated by Fred Wolf (no relation).

  Thank you for your interest in my work. I’m using a combination of Windsor Newton stick pastels, and a variety of pastel pencils. The paper is Arches watercolor paper, prepared with gel medium that has ground pumice added. You can vary the thickness of the gel medium to get more or less textured surface.
