More work on my 2nd pastel. I concentrated on the roses, but also worked on background, foreground, etc.

St Vrain River Flooding in Longmont Colorado
You may have heard about the flooding in Colorado. Starting Thursday evening, we experienced an incredible amount of rain, which caused a dam to fail in the mountains. All that water came down to the plains, and a lot of it entered the St Vrain river, which I live less than a mile from in Longmont.
Luckily, my house was far enough from the river to avoid any damage. However, just a block south of us, houses and businesses were flooded out.
This is being called a 500 year flood.
