This weekend, Holly & I drove up to Cheyenne, WY to see Marty Stuart and the Fabulous Superlatives at the Outlaw Saloon.
We are avid fans of Marty and the band, and watch The Marty Stuart Show on RFD-TV regularly.
In person, they did not disappoint. Playing with passion and precision, they kept us bouncing with joy for the entire 2 hour show.
The path we took to get there is worth telling. Back in March, looking at Marty’s web page I noticed he was coming to Cheynne in June. I tried to get tickets via TicketsWest, but could not. I emailed Outlaw Saloon, and Troy responded. Because of the hassle we had finding tickets, Troy invited us to come as Outlaw Saloon’s guests. In addition, he had reserved a ring side table for us.
All this added up to a magical evening of music, fun and new friends.
We were thrilled to see (Handsome) Harry Stinson, (Cousin) Kenny Vaughn, (Apostle) Paul Martin, and the great Marty Stuart in person, playing their hearts out just a few feet from us.
