Exhibit: Jeff

When my old friend Jeff Lee was visiting in July, we stopped by the Longmont Museum and took some pics.  This sketch is from a pose struck in front of some sort of farm display.  There lot’s of yellow and blue in the background, which would make a painting a whole different experience than the drawing.  I’m debating myself on whether to do a painting from this sketch.

I would like to follow up on the painting of my mom at the Milwaukee Public Museum (see previous posts), but need to give more thought on how to set that up.  What was lucky in Milwaukee (especially the lighting) are hard to conjure up at will.
