I’ve been away from studio work for a while due to other concerns. I went today, and decided to revisit this pastel that I had previously thought of as just about finished. It looked a bit washed out to me, so I started adding colors, particularly yellows on the tarts, reds, orange and purple on the pear.

I picked up a CD set of early 60s pop music, The Amazing Early 60s Box, a collection of mostly obscure pre-Beatles music. 
A lot of fun, with some unheard gems discovered. And the sound quality is excellent, better than these tunes ever enjoyed when originally released.
