Coco Chanel-ing

I got over to my studio today, and drew for a while.  I had a library book of diverse photo portraits, and chose a pic of Coco Chanel to sketch.

The unusual pose is what caught my eye; the unflattering upshot.  Seeing them side by side hours after drawing, it’s obvious to see where the drawing is off compared to the photo.

Earlier today, I took Chester for a walk down by 1st Ave.

I’ve noticed a nest of foxes behind a chain link fence next to the tracks.

While driving to a party last nite, we noticed a fox on a lawn near our home; I wonder if it came from this fox condo?
