I’ve started on the painting of Chi Chi. I’ve been re-priming and layering a pre-primed masonite board in preparation for beginning this portrait.
I decided to start monochromatically.
Color will be added once I build up the values.

really diggin the blue highlights.
The blue is from the acrylic underpainting, which I didn’t show on my blog. Basically, I used blue acrylic paint to begin to define dark and light areas.
