While walking Chester yesterday, I came upon this letter taped to a graffiti’d over sign at the east entrance to Izaak Walton Park. It’s an anonymous message (signed ‘Peece’) to perceived gang members about the park.
It’s a bit rambling and not totally coherent. But the gist of it is that gang members are taking over the park, and to please find yourself by embracing yourself.
I was surprised; I walk around the park often, and had seen no signs of gang activity. But I’m never there at night, maybe that’s when the gangs come out?
