More work on this piece, with the adding of a red tint to the rose and crumpled paper areas. It will take a few sessions to build up the red properly.
I also worked on the background, adding Cobalt Turquoise glazes.
The Cobalt Turquoise is difficult to work with. It doesn’t have a nice consistency right out of the tube; seems like it wants to be mixed with something else to give it some body. I tried a thin glaze of straight paint, as well as a mix with white.
